I KNOW I WILL BE MISSED

I KNOW I WILL BE MISSED

26th November 2009, When Google came to our lives, none of us had ever thought about his presence as significant to all of us in couples of month. Google is a dog, originally brought from  Sonipat to Delhi by SSD, and Jia Sarai was the place where I met him firstly. Google, a child adored by many ‘father’ SSD, AS, ST, Savi, HR along with ‘me’.

And, a true son, charming baby to his mommy ‘Pynk’.

Though, I am feeling blue, with an sting of parting to google, making up to renounce his presence for now. I can still remember those days, getting high after glasses, flooded with true affectionate dialogue of Satya, Ankur, Sam and Savio.

“Yaar, iski aankhen bahut cute hai yaar....oye mera googy, poogy”

“BC, kaat mat, yaar mein isko Arthur banana chahta hoon..taaki jab ye bahar jaye to sabki G**D faad de...”

“Savio, Hitesh wala photo shoot”

And offcourse who can forge this word, “kaaluuuuuuuuuuuuu, abbey tujhe hi bol raha hoon...and lovebite as an after-effect ha ha ha”

“Googy khana khyegi googy, achha sit, sit...”

But, without one name all the name cited above as father are less colossal. Pravesh, A true friend available always for every single demand of his.

those little innocent moments. awwww... :can only be felt in hushed  :(

"I KNOW WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HEAR,

"KAALU....." YEAH U MUST BE MISSING THIS WORD...

"I KNOW YOU WANNA HEAR, SOMEONE TO CALL YOU GOOGY POOGY EARLY MORNING....."

"I KNOW YOU WANNA SEE US AGAIN...I KNOW U DID'T HAD YOUR FOOD TODAY...."

PLZ GOD, MY EYES ARE FULL OF EMOTIONS....
********************************************************************************************************************************************************
I started with a beautiful end of 2011, with dear friends. That day and today,   thought of parting from google so early was not predictable. So, 2nd time in 2012, I am wishing to have a time machine to rewind those memories. Unfortunately both the wish to have time machine is for two opposite reasons. :( knowing the fact that both the wishlist are mirage in desert, which has no existence to accomplice. :(

If ever get a chance to have one among you two, you will be my choice..

I know the twinge of parting, so, it is difficult to renounce the needs of yours will be injustice to your life. I know you will be adopted soon by some family, where you can have all those fun and masti which you could not have here. Your growing need and requirements are more important than our emotions. So, I will pray for a new beginning of yours.

I know every single reason for your hurt/hate is our selfishness, forgive us and have a cheerful life ahead.....

For me,  True love which ask for nothing except the happiness of beloved, even on separation and so for, your happiness is last thing in your life are needed. I have got enough of your good memories, memories which are enough to have a good life here.

I love you

Manish

Dreams ! ! !

A painting with coloured wings of hope,
Fairytales of yesterday only grow but hardly die.
Smouldering desires that turns into ashes.
Aberration towards reality, abiding the truth
but to renounce it and obeying the fatuous.
Feeble attempts, towards the feign romance.

Wake in day to find that it was void.
Accepting, there will day and night again.
Perhaps It is learning, what it means to life.
Living every moment, what make you smile.
Dreams are woeful, knowing them as a dream,
When it dawn outside, in-hope to be night again.

With an appetence to have them or to be with them, inducing me :) and sometimes checking off with reality :(
I am a dreamer, and it's the phase i can have what i wish to be part of my life, no pleading, no boundation.....just me and my aspiration. :) ......manish

My fight with New Year Resolutions??

When it comes to hordes, New year resolutions are fine as good as facebook, twitter update and good aphrodisiac for conversation but commitment to them is akin to boyfriends promises that  rarely come true for the complete year, and to themnew year resolutions are like resolution for good health, new year resolutions for better love, sex etc etc.Mind you, it’s not an assumption; experienced on new year night when two friends of mine were in dilemma to join or not to join gurgaon X party.

These days everyone is talking about them, it does force me to evaluate myself over the past year. But then the past year is a mirror of all my past years. So I close my eyes and ask myself.

What do I want??? Not an easy question always at all, in today’s setting talking to self and self introspection sounds mundane and silly. Even an artist has an outline sketch that disciplines the painting. So what’s the plan of I want?

I want to be happyJ. But then I have walked with enough thinkers and mystics, psychologists and intellectuals to know that is just a word that describes a temporary moment of brain chemicals.  “Brain Chemicals” Now that is what frightens me most these days. Am I just a product of my brain chemicals? If it is so, what else is important then a still, restful and peaceful mind? That is easy. All I need is a prescription from a doctor.

What do I want???? Of course I should be making a step forward towards my goal. As an academician and entrepreneur, I want to communicate with my dreams as a curious student. So the basic question returns back. What and how do I communicate??? I have always been told I think too much and because of which I made mess. But that is not true either. Why should action be measured in terms of marketable creation? Is achievement and fame, monetary gains and material assets the fundamentals of measuring action? I
am impatient always. Always on every move as in travelling, Interacting with people always.

What do I want??? What should I aspire for on this New Year? What is that fundamental idea that would encompass that which I desire most?
Now here is the problem. My desires change on a day to day basis. On a moment to moment basis like a child I get attracted from one desire to another, one idea to another. So how can I trust my desire to define that which I want most? I want a healthy life for as long as I can. I want all my family and those I love to be happy and healthy forever. I want to everyone to happy and healthy. I want there to be peace, a racism free, religion free, and violence free world. I want the Planet to be a greener and less polluted place.

All that which will never possible as the Buddha discovered much earlier in his life.

So really, what do I want? Not a wish list. Not a fantasy. Something I can achieve. Something real that underlies everything I have searched for. The root from which the rest naturally grows flowers. Is there such a root?
What do I want?

I want to be honest. Not as in truthful, But to live honestly in the moment, to live in honesty, not the honesty or truthfulness of the moment that passed. For that is a prejudice. Not in the truthfulness or honesty that may exist in the next moment, for that is either a fear or a fantasy, But the honesty of this moment, Honesty that needs absolute awareness. That honesty that is aware of all that there is without prejudice or dogma, without rules or desires. Where the moment stretches into an eternity from one moment to another.

Yes, I have walked with my teachers and friends who have taught me so much and tried to teach me fundamentals.

I have my path, stepping from one chaotic footstep to another, but hoping somehow that the unknown path so travelled finds harmony in the journey.

That is what I want. "The journey." That is honest to each step.

Happy New Year....

what are you looking for
while everything is around us?
like the name written on sand
faded with the each flow
in the house built on sea shore
shattered with the sea tide
in the snowflake to catch
before it melts ?
in the dirt particle
with the foremost ray of sunlight
which disappears the instant
you attempt and isolate it ?
in your own shadow,
that changes
the moment you turn around to catch it ?
all existence have life
forever, temporarily
in the moment
one feel itself
as a part of it,
if you don’t try
and define it
isolate it
quantify it
and capture it
further than that moment
I wish you all an everlasting momentary joy

J ….Happy New year…. J

Are we ready for the change....???

Hai preet jahan ki reet sada mein geet waha ke gata hoon..bharat ka rahne wala hoon bharat ki baat sunata hoon.....well such song can fill any Indian with the patriotism......and it has nothing wrong......... but,  do we have that true patriotism for our nation??

Well, Stage is set now and along with Indian whole world was eagerly waiting for 27th December, and everything seems to have fallen in place, for the Government, the Parliament, for the people of India, for the news channels and the internet. "India Against Corruption", seems to have shaken up a few people, actually, a whole lot of Indian population, and everyone seems to be talking about it everywhere.

I wonder if anything is going to change. Mind you, I am a very optimistic person; so, don't think that I don't have any hopes. But, when you get to see, or hear about bizzare incidents happening almost every day, all around me, all this boils down to a very basic question.

Are we really ready for this change?

I have a big doubt. There were many cases where people have victim of being assault by Indian policeman, either they were not having enough of money to bribe or another person was with big stature in the society. There was another incident, many incident alike hit and run case, 2g spectrum case, Common wealth games corruption bla bla bla. There is a long list of such incident. I know a collage friend, who had to pay lump sum amount to institution authority to get admission in the course. While there were many student who were on scholarship while belonging to affluent family, most of them were from Bihar.
During my PG programme, I personally realise how people change their fate, Why business tycoons/bureaucrats/politicians and their child only grow and are on big profile, like assistant professor etc.

But, I have an appetence and wish that one day, India would be on the list of the least corrupt nations in the world. But, I doubt that this will happen in a course of the next few years. It would take generations and decades all-together to bring about this change. It's not only about the laws, or the judiciary or the punitive actions by the authorities. Even by having biggest written constitution in detail for everything, our politicians mending the constitution just to mollify their voters. There should be a change in peoples' mindset and their thinking. We should change the way we live each day. We should change the way we act each day.

Everyone from the Government that speaks against corruption doesn't really understand how to tackle it. Or rather, they don't really have the will to eradicate corruption. I would agree that, 80% of the government officials are corrupt, but the honest ones, who are still the 20% of the system, get branded as corrupt officials. Why is that so?

1.     Until and unless I pay a bribe at the passport office, my application would continue depositing dust.
2.      Until and unless I pay donation to some MP, I won't get admission to a private school/college.
3.      Until and unless I pay a bribe, my tender would be rejected.
4.      Until and unless I pay bribe, I would be the last one to be promoted.

These are routine corruption case, which one must have face in his life. I haven’t discussed the about big business house, who pay a lump-sum amount to minister for their wellbeing, life exemption in tax etc. Exemption in tax winning amount after cricket world cup for the world richest cricket council, while national sport hockey has never got such big impetus ever, cricketers who earned a nefty amount via advertisement campaign etc, was there any need to rebate in the tax?? Benefiting bunch of group Is a kind of corruption too.

I read the document copy of Jan-Lokpal and realised detailing of Lokpal is inspired with influence of MP’s and ministers of Govt. There is no need to tell congress ruled the country since 1947, and most of today’s minister are rooted since freedom and share a big amount of black money, reasonably, it all was just to protect them.

Democracy is related to people, people of country, But 4.5% of reservation for religion reminiscent me of divided India, where so called Mahatma Gandhi support and agreed on the independent Pakistan. Story of later, everybody is aware; Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru became the prime Minister of free India. Unquestionably, it’s all just to win the heart of Muslim voters and to return in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Ignoring the fact, these decisions have bang akin to”gulam Kashmir.” Black Money Issue, 2G spectrum and Common Wealth Games Corruption are burning issues among the present India. Why Government doesn’t bring the fact and discloses the names of corrupt politicians, why they are afraid of not doing so. Answer is very clear; they all are illicit complete in wrong doing.

It doesn't matter if he rides in a BMW. Take away his Z+ security, and let him drive on the pot-holed roads, and get stuck in traffic. Let him try to renew his vehicle insurance. Let him try to get a gas connection for his house. Let him try to get his PF amount withdrawn from the PF office. Let him try to successfully win a contract without bribing a penny. Let him try to dare and complain against a lazy government officer or a dishonest minister.  Let him try to register a complaint in the police station about his stolen TV.

I am sure he will have a stiff time. Just like each one of us go through all these dilemma, every single day of our lives. I understand that a Prime Minister is not a super-man and he can't really solve each and every problem of our nation. But then, whatever I can see around myself, or read about in the news papers, I don't really feel that the Government is really trying hard. But again, that's not the point. Even after we would have all the strict laws and the Jan Lokpal setup, do I really feel that, magically, one fine morning, corruption in India would end?

My clear response is a big "NO".

Until and unless we change, nothing's really going to change. Things like these have to change.

1.      People let their children stay in prison for a day or two instead of bribing the police, even if their children are innocent.
2.      People don't produce fake caste certificates to get their children admitted into good schools.
3.      People themselves stop taking bribes or offering bribes.
4.      People should encourage their children to be honest, not only to them, but to everyone else as well.
5.      People stop asking for dowry. That's also a kind of bribe.
6.      People stop giving dowry.
7.      Teach humanity. Be more humane. Killing someone for Rs. 50000/-!!!!! That's not humane.
8.      People should pay their taxes honestly, even if they feel that the Government is just eating up their hard-earned money.
9.   An evil person deserves a chance after his first mistake, but what if he go over them knowingly for fun and excitement.  Strong rules and regulation are must for such devil.

A wise quote tell itself,
Start of change begins with self then home to society and country.

Writing on such topic is not an easy task, an intense honesty and deep confidence is required with radical knowledge of evil and deity in society among you friends and family.

Teacher!! The society maker

This is a conversation during my FDP Programme among the students and academician of IGNOU on teaching and teachers at NIFT, is worth a read.
A Teacher Question and Answer…
The class were sitting around the table discussing teaching pedagogy and modern day learning aids.
.
Professor from IGNOU, decided to explain the problem with? Education. He argued, “What’s a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?” or something else??

To stress his point he asked again the class; “You’re the future faculties, Manish? Be honest. What was your learning experience throughout of your life?”

Manish, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness in class replied,

“You want to know what I learned and how I learned.” (I paused for few second, and then began…)

Well, journey of my learning started from a place where learning means memorising. I born in a small village and began learning to a small Hindi medium school, There were very few schools in that place and it was best among all of them.

Unquestionably, u must be thinking about, wasn’t there any English medium school? Definitely there was but almost 20-22 km far from the village. Transportation or commuting has always been hurdle in most of their lives in such places. Even, I studied and grew up along with the Zameendar’s children’s of village. As my father was among the educated people or can say only one with master’s degree till 1990. He was only government officer authorised to attest the documents, though my mother is also regular B.A in arts, but she choose to be house wife and taught me after schools.

“Well, Mummy Dady make me work harder than they could and reasonably i was among those three people out of 300 who appeared in 12th and continued their education.

Vikrant (cousin) was selected in IIT, I chose NIFT, even after scoring 44th rank in DCE exam and Ashish Gupta, choose BBA and then MBA from IMT, Nagpur.
But whenever we met or discussed we found that we could have done much better if our foundation of learning would made of understanding.

We were never criticised before collage for our pronunciation, extra influence in words, improper accent for English and Hindi were reason I felt blue, but accepting the fact I am in routine to improve since last 7 year, As it is the only area which have scope the of improvisation always.

Similarly everybody in class was in full swing with their story, and after listening each of them I found myself alone knowing the fact i m the one different to them but gave me proud feeling too, that even after having such surroundings, I am of equal competence.

Class start sharing their views on modern day learning aids, Web Medium, use of computers, power point presentation, working live/demonstration of theories and concept with animation.

With such question and answer, class proceeds and I raised a point to IGNOU-Professor.

You have been in academics since very long, u got big reputation and you are also the committee member of Indian Education Council, is it worth to have big issues, I still found no change in the education system of India.

Big Institution like NIFT and etc don’t have good faculties, Most of professor/Asst Professor are not regular graduated or post graduated, either from distance learning or correspondence Do, they worth of teaching in institutes or collages??

What you have Done Professor and how do you treat you students?? Kind of question related to his integrity, he wouldn’t have ever expected.

So, IGNOU-Professor replied with pugnacious way internally.

Manish, I make students sit through 40 minutes of class time when their
parents can’t make them sit for 5 without an I Pod,
Game Cube or movie rental.

You want to know what I make?. (He paused again and looked
at each and every person at the table)

I make students wonder.

I make them question.

I make them apologize and mean it.

I make them have respect and take responsibility for their actions.

I teach them how to write and then I make them write. Keyboarding isn’t everything.

I make them read, read, read.

I make them show all their work in math. They use their God
given brain, not the man-made calculator.

I make my students from other countries learn everything
they need to know while preserving their
unique cultural identity.

I make my classroom a place where all my students feel safe.

At least, IGNOU bring that awareness people to self-learning, people who were feared of books, teachers, who will beat them on uncompleted home work. I bring awareness to write and read, provide a hope to those govt. Employees who were not promoted since because of unmatched qualification.

I MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Everybody went silent and satisfied.

A profound answer!!!

This was the reply from a Handicapped person, and such people are needed to our developing. Though, I was Unsatisfied, because he didn’t reply to few questions of mine about faculties in institute, qualification and processes. I do not doubt his integrity but....accepting the fact that we all have become habitual in corruption and reply to this can ignite the blaze.

Teachers make societies and change can only be brought if your mentor is conscious and well educated. And still many of bits and pieces in developing India need to be taken care, without this any development, change is not functional at all.....

I am not making any conclusion or slogan to this conversation, as i personally feel slogans and conclusion are for uneducated people.

X-mas and Gajar Ka Halwa

X-mas is celebrated as the birthday for prabhu Yishu, Though, I am not Christian, but like every religion it spread the message of love, peace and non-violence and akin to every festivals it spread positive vibes and happiness among the family in busy schedule of life. It is also celebrated as beginning of New Year. I love festivals, and celebrations of them give me immense pleasure and happiness, moreover to them, on every festival my mummy astonished us with her delicious recipes, it’s Sunday morning around 11am my cousins and brother start decorating Christmas tree, and they got some colourful ribbons, lights, gifts-chocolate, for mummy and daddy.

But, for me most anticipated thing is gajar ka halwa and today I am going to share the recipe of this...though i helped mummy in preparing of halwa. It’s not first time I cooked something.

I started with grating the carrots, almost around 3 kg of carrots i grate today. After completion of Halwa i realized it has not big deal, one can cook it for self as required.

So, please note down the ingredients for Gajar ka Halwa.
1.     Carrots, 3 kg grated
2.     Milk, around 1 kg
3.     Desi Ghee, ½ kg
4.     Sugar, 750 Gram
5.     One teaspoon cardamom powder
6.     Dry Fruits, whatever and how much u like

Preparation time 45 minutes
Suitable for – 12-15 persons

I washed the carrots before to peel them and grate them finely.  After putting the frying pan on gas, add desi ghee in the frying pan and as the ghee start melted add the carrots in the pan.

Mildly mix them and fry the carrots for 10-15 minutes without covering the pan, keep on stirring regularly.

Add sugar and skimmed milk to the carrots in the pan, and again cooked it for 20-25 minutes.

Its winter season so frying the dry fruit is best for crunchy taste; add them to halwa for garnishing.

So, finely our lovely gajar ka halwa is ready, add cardamom powder to enhance the flavour.

Well, it’s 6pm, and I am enjoying festivals with delicious gajar ka halwa....

Merry Christmas
Spread love
